The Show.


We pride ourselves on presenting top class entertainment and value for money.  The shows are usually mixed bills hosted by a compere and run from 8.00-10.15pm with one interval. Doors open at 7.30pm. The venue is well equipped for sound and light and comfortably holds 86 people. There is a bar open throughout the show selling a limited range of drinks at reasonable prices. 


Shows are designed for adults (over 18s only) and are not for the easily offended (although nothing that you couldn’t see on TV before 11pm).


Is there food available?


Afraid not during the show.  We have found that laughing with your mouth full is not particularly attractive or safe.


However, the three pubs in the village are all within 3 minutes walk and are offering pre-theatre meal deals. Just tell them when booking that you need to be with us by 7.30pm

Do you accept group bookings?


As an intimate venue, we discourage large group bookings that can tend to disrupt shows, so tickets are limited to a MAXIMUM of 8 per person.


What we ask of you.


We want everyone to enjoy the show. Please don’t talk during the performance and ensure your mobile phone is turned off. You will be required to leave without refund if your behaviour is disruptive. No recording in any medium is allowed without prior permission.

Intoxicated persons will not be admitted.


How much are tickets?


£12 advance (£15 on the door if any available). The December Xmas Special will be £14 advance and £17 on the door. We can only take cash on the door (assuming the show has not sold out beforehand).

COVID


Special Covid procedures will be in place which will be explained with your e-ticket and upon entry to the venue.

Please do not attend shows if you answer YES to any of the following questions:

  •  Today, or in the last 10 days, have you had any of the following symptoms: high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste?

  • Today, or in the last 10 days, are you self-isolating having been contacted by the NHS Test and Trace services or after returning to/entering the UK?

  • Today, or in the last 10 days, have you or anyone in your household tested positive for COVID-19?

If you experience any symptoms after leaving the venue, please let us know and we will inform NHS for any necessary follow-up. By booking online, the ticketing agency holds Track-and-Trace information to pass on to NHS if needed. We would also encourage you to sign into the venue via the QR code at the entrance.

Tickets may be cancelled or transferred up to 6pm on the night of the performance. In the event of the venue having to cancel a show, you will be refunded.

Mask wearing is at your discretion, but we ask you to respect the wishes and safety of others around you. Please maintain social distancing courtesies when moving around the venue. Hand sanitiser will be available at the entrance. We will be increasing ventilation – this may mean the venue is colder than usual – please bear this in mind. Full cleaning will be carried out between events.

 Do not move any furniture within the venue. This is a condition of entry.

 Depending on various factors, there may be more than one interval during the show. Details will be announced each night.


Anything else?

Kindly note, bills do occasionally change at the last minute for all sorts of reasons We make every effort to obtain suitable replacements and always do our best to amend this site’s information to include any changes.

Very rarely, we will cancel a show altogether.  It’s not something we do often or lightly, but we feel that if you are paying to see a show, you should feel comfortable and in an atmosphere where you don’t feel too exposed!  Comedy is very difficult to perform to tiny audiences so we do have a minimum number of customers in order to go ahead.  In these instances you will be informed by email/text by the ticketing company as soon as any show is pulled and we ALWAYS immediately update the website and Twitter/Facebook Pages of any pertinent changes.  You will always be refunded (or offered the chance to transfer your ticket to a different event).
